Day 4 of the Founders Cup resulted in a couple of upsets and no more teams being undefeated.
In the 2:00pm game, the Akwasasne Thunder handed the Queen City Kings its 4th straight loss with a 16-4 win to move to 2-2 in the standings. In the 5:00pm contest, the Onondaga Redhawks surprised the now 3-1 Edmonton Warriors 11-10 to also move to 2-2 in the tournament. In the nightcap, host Port Coquitlam Saints, who finished in 3rd in the BC Junior B Tier 1 standings, manhandled the BC champion Victoria Shamrocks 11-3 to improve to 3-1, with the Shamrocks dropping to 2-2.
The final day of round-robin action Friday features Queen City trying to bump the slump again Onondaga in the early game, followed by Akwasasne tangling with Port Coquitlam, and finishing with Victoria vs. Edmonton in the late game.
