Playoff Results

Day 6 of the Founders Cup features four playoff games.

The first two matches are Tier 2 Semi Finals:

• Pool B 3rd Seed Mountainview Mavericks [AB] advances to the Tier 2 Final Sunday after an 8-7 win over the Pool A 4th Seed Queen City Kings [SK]. The Kings' Cashton Seaborg (1G, 4A) led scoring, with the Mavericks' Isaac Tisdale and the Kings' Ryan McDonald and Jaxson Lenz, all with 2 goals and 2 assists right behind. 
• Pool A 3rd Seed Winnipeg Blizzard [MB] also advances with a 7-6 decision over Pool B 4th Seed Nova Scotia Privateers.

The latter two matches are Championship Semi Finals:

• Pool A 1st Seed Hamilton Mac-Klean Bengals [Host] defeated Pool B 2nd seed Onondaga Redhawks [FN] 12-10 to advance to the Gold Medal game. The Bengals' Curtis Ward (3G, 4A) and the Redhawks' Jameson Bucktooth, both with 3 goals and 4 assists, led scoring.
• Pool B 1st Seed Elora Mohawks [ON] knocked off Pool A 2nd Seed Victoria Shamrocks [BC] 12-7 to also advance to the Gold Medal game. Cole Hunsberger of the Mohawks (3G, 3A) led scorers.
