Day 3 Wrap-Up

Day 3 is a wrap at the 2024 Founders Cup.

Victoria Shamrocks [BC] (1-2) finally hit the win column with an 11-6 victory over the Winnipeg Blizzard [MB]. Xander De La Ronde of the Blizzard (1-1) led scoring with 2 goals and 3 assists.

Queen City Kings [SK] (1-1) also registered their first win 8-6 over the Saint John Rapids [NB] (1-1). The Rapids' Drew Mason led scoring with 1 goal and 3 assists while the Kings' Ryan McDonald picked up a hat-trick.

Elora Mohawks [ON] (2-0) squared off with the Onandaga Redhawks [FN] (1-2) and came away with a 9-1 decision. Evan McDougall led the attack for the Mohawks with 3 goals and 2 assists.

Host Hamilton Mac-Klean Bengals (2-0) tangled with the Blizzard (1-2) in the late game and won 11-9. Curtis Ward (5G, 1A) and Cody Inness (1G, 5A) were the leading scorers for the hosts.
