Port Coquitlam Takes Bronze

The host Port Coquitlam Saints claimed the bronze medal at the 2023 Founders Cup by defeating the Onondaga Redhawks 12-8 Saturday afternoon. The Saints' Jared Maznik led scoring with 3 goals and 2 assists, while Greyson Beggs stopped 31 of 39 shots in net. Earlier in the day, the Victoria Shamrocks downed the Queen City Kings 16-11 to take 5th place in the tournament.

The gold medal game featuring 4-1 Edmonton Warriors and 3-2 Akwasasne Thunder gets underway at 3:30pm PDT.
