Medal Games Set for Saturday

The round-robin portion of the Founders Cup wrapped up Friday night, with Edmonton defeating Victoria 9-7 to claim top spot at 4-1. With Akwasasne upping Port Coquitlam 13-11 and Onondaga beating Queen City 18-4, the three teams finished 3-2. Since the Thunder won their games over the Saints and Redhawks, they advance to face the Miners in the gold medal game Saturday at 3:30pm. The Saints and RedHawks will battle for the bronze at noon, while the Shamrocks will play the 0-5 Kings for 5th place at 9:00am.
